Paul Antony Shaw

Paul studied at Salford University, graduating with 1st Class Honours, he majored in Composition and Performance. Since his teens he has worked extensively as a Piano and Music Teacher, Event Pianist and Keyboard Player in U.K. as well as in countries such as Denmark and Germany. During his time at Salford University he also won the Elgar Howarth Award for Composition. In 2005 Paul co-wrote a huge Dance Track (Luv Is Cool) which was #1 in the Dance charts and record of the week on radio 1.  Since graduating Paul has also lectured in Music at the Manchester College for 14 years, he holds a Post Graduate Certificate In Academic Practice, and is a member of the Higher Education Authority. At present he teaches Piano at Riffs academy in Marple 3 days a week, as well as continuing to perform on a regular basis. Paul also continues to Arrange and Compose songs in various styles, mostly recently having a Co-Written Classical Crossover track mixed in America by 5 times Grammy winner Brian Vibberts.

As a Piano Teacher Paul gives lessons in areas including: Manchester, Wigan, Cheshire, Macclesfield, Denton, Saddleworth,  Ashton-Under-Lyne,  Oldham, Rochdale, Droylsden, Tameside,  Uppermill.    

Paul is a member of the Higher Education Authority, Musicians' Union, The Performing Rights Society and M.C.P.S. He has a D.B.S. Certificate, a copy of which can be supplied on request.
